Niger State Governor Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago was among hundreds of sympathisers that attended the Muslim funeral prayer for late Hajiya Aisha Suleiman Danladi, mother to the Minister of State Police Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim and Mother in-law of Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Sen. Muhammad Sani Musa.
The funeral prayer was held at the Palace of Emir of Keffi, Nasarawa State and was led by the Chief Imam of Keffi, Malam Awwal Abubakar.
The Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage III, received the farmer Governor and his entourage at the Palace of the Emirate of Keffi.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago condoled with the Emir, the Emirate Council and the people of Nasarawa State over the loss and urged them to take solace in Allah who has made death a transition to life hereafter.
Also speaking, Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule who described late Hajiya Aisha’s loss as a huge one urged everyone to learn a lesson from her demise as every soul shall taste death and accountable for every deeds on earth.
The Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage III, while appreciating Farmer Governor Umaru Bago for sharing in their moment of grief, prayed for Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased.
Special prayer was made by the Chief Imam of Keffi, for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago thereafter led his entourage to the family residence of the deceased, where he encouraged them to remain steadfast in Allah and His will while praying for the deceased.
The late Hajiya Aisha Suleiman Danladi died leaving behind seven children among which is the Minister of State, Police Affairs Hajiya Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim.
Some notable personalities at the funeral include the Former APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu; Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bala Ciroma; Sen. Muhammad Sani Musa, Senator representing Niger North, Sen. Abubakar Sani Bello; Member representing Bida/Katcha/Gbako/Federal Constituency, Saidu Musa Abdullahi;
Others are Minister of State for Agriculture, Abdullahi Sabi, some members of the State Executive Council and Principal Officers of the Farmer Governor.
