Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, his Wife, Hajiya Fatima Umaru Bago, family members and well-wishers were among many guests at the 13th Speech, prize giving and graduation ceremony of his daughter, Aisha Amal Umaru Bago from Glisten International Academy, Abuja.
The Governor who was elated to see his daughter graduating, commended the Management and teachers of the school for giving their best to groom the students both in character and learning.
He called on the graduands to continue to be respectful and law-abiding citizens as they enter into another phase of life, and in their quest for more knowledge.
Aisha Amal Umaru Bago, the Daughter of the Farmer Governor, who expressed gratitude to Allah for successfully completing her secondary education, also thanked her parents and the School Management for their support in her academic pursuit.
The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Glisten International Academy Abuja, Hajiya Samira Jibir in her remarks acknowledged the supportive role of parents towards making the Students excel in their academic and also make them better members of the society.
She said that the School will not relent in ensuring that its students are technologically advanced in line with the best global practices.
The Principal of the School, Charles Ene described the event as a significant milestone and the beginning of a new chapter in the life and aspirations of the graduands, whom he advised to be innovative and brace up for the world’s challenges that require innovative solutions.
Aisha Amal Umaru Bago bagged an award as the best female boarding Student, she was also presented with a special award as the longest schooling Student having being in the school from Nursery to Secondary.
Her Mother, and Wife of the Governor, Hajiya Fatima Umaru Bago also received an award for being the longest patronising parents of the Academy.
Several other categories of awards were also presented to outstanding Students, staff, and individuals for their contributions to the development of the School.
A total of 100 Students graduated from the School as the 2024 set.
