Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, was among hundreds of sympathisers that attended the 3-day special prayer session for the late Chairman of Katcha Local Government Council, Danlami Abdullahi Saku, held at the Minna Central Mosque.
The Chief Imam of Minna, Mal. Jibrin Isah, led the special prayers session organized by the Bago led administration shortly after the Jummat prayer was observed.
A series of prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased and for Allah to comfort the family he left behind.
Dignitaries at the firdau were the Niger State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Emir of Minna, Alh. Umar Faruk Bahago, Speaker of Niger State House of Assembly, AbdulMalik Sarkin Daji, Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman, Head of Service,and Abubakar Sadiq Idris among others.
The Late Chairman of Katcha Local Government Council, Danlami Abdullahi Saku, Tuesday, died after in a ghastly motor accident along Kwakuti, Minna-Suleja road.
