Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago commiserates with the immediate past Secretary of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Niger State Chapter, Rita Luka over the death of her father, Mr. Anthony Durumi.
In a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor acknowledges the sorrow and vacuum usually caused by the loss of a parent
He notes the life of commitment, hard work and positive impact the deceased lived, adding that his contributions to the development of Niger State, especially in the Education sector, earned him a special promotion in 1986 by the then Military Governor of State.
The Governor says Late Durumi lived a life worthy of emulation and that the bereaved family should be inspired by the good legacies the deceased left.
He prays that God will repose the soul of the deceased and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The Late. Anthony Durumi is survived by a wife, Mrs. Christiana Larai Anthony, and five children, among which is Mrs Rita Luka, the former Secretary of NAWOJ Niger State Chapter, as well as 10 grandchildren.
