Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has congratulated the Emir of Kontagora, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammad Bara’u Mu’azu II, on the occasion of his 51st birthday anniversary, celebrated July 27, 2025.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago described the 7th Sarkin Sudan as a passionate and dedicated traditional ruler who remains deeply concerned about the welfare of his people.
The statement noted that the Emir has not only preserved the time-honoured values and cultural heritage of the Kontagora Emirate but has also played a significant role in strengthening the traditional institution across Niger State.
Governor Bago commended the Emirate for its continued support for the policies and programmes of his administration, describing the collaboration as vital to achieving sustainable development.
He prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the monarch, asking for long life, sound health, and wisdom. He further assured the Emir of his administration’s steadfast support for the growth and stability of the Kontagora Emirate.
