Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has received the Soniya Asusun Nupe, Hajiya Aisha Ndanusa Ahmed, on a thank-you visit at the Niger State Liaison Office in Abuja.
Hajiya Aisha, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), recently received the traditional title of Soniya Asusun Nupe from the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar.
Governor Bago described her as a dedicated woman whose hard work and service to humanity have distinguished her.
He congratulated her on the honour, noting that the title was well deserved.
He further urged her to see the recognition as an opportunity to continue contributing to the growth and development of the Nupe Kingdom, Niger State, and Nigeria at large.
