Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago was among high-profile dignitaries and well-wishers that attended the wedding fatiha of Aisha Dikko Radda, the daughter of Katsina State Governor, and Her heartrobe, Ahmed Usman.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu stood as the representative of the Bride’s family while former Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda represented the groom’s family.
The Chief Imam of Katsina Central Mosque supported by Mallam Amadi Batagarawa, the Imam of Modoji Jumma’at Mosque and Grand Khadi of Katsina State conducted the wedding fatiha.
He pronounced the bride and groom a couple after the confirmation of the payment of N700,000 as the bride price and the fulfilment of all wedding requirements according to Islamic injunctions.
The wedding, which attracted arrays of Nigerian politicians across different political parties, was also attended by businessmen and traditional rulers.
Governor Umaru Bago whole led the Niger State delegation to the wedding, subsequently moved to the reception venue where they celebrated and shared in the joy of the couple and their parents.
He congratulated the couple and prayed for Allah’s boundless blessings, and peace in their marriage.
