Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago joined other sympathisers at the funeral of Hajiya Rukaya Usman Baba Aliyu, an aunt to his Director General (DG) of Protocol, Yerima Abdullahi.
The funeral took place at Okada road Minna, where family members, friends, colleagues and many other dignitaries gathered to pray and shared moment of reflection on the life and legacies of the deceased.
The Governor, while condoling his DG Protocol and other family members over the loss, urged them to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a good and devoted life.
He reminded them that Allah, who gives and takes life as He wills, makes no mistake in all things.
The Governor then prayed to Allah to forgive the deceased and grant her Aljanna Firdausi as well as give the family members the fortitude to bear the loss.
