Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has condoled with the people of Gwada over the demise of Alh. Hassan Ahmadu Gomna Girgije a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress APC.
The Governor led the State delegation to the family residence of the deceased in Gwada.
He described the deceased as a voice in Gwada who has positively impacted his people greatly.
The Governor while comforting the family of late Girgije, enjoined them to remain steadfast in their faith knowing that Allah gives and takes life when He wills.
He prays that Allah will forgive all the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljanna Firdausi.
The Governor used the forum to call on the people to be united for the peace and progress of the area and the entire State.
He also enjoined them to be more patient and tolerant with leaders and sustain their prayers for wisdom to serve them better.
The Governor assured them that his administration will ensure the completion of all ongoing projects in the area and approve the execution of new ones.
A special prayer session was held for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
The Governor was accompanied by the lawmaker representing Niger East Senatorial District, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, Secretary to the Niger State Government, Abubakar Usman and other key government officials.
