The Governor who expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Revenue Service, disclosed they have been given the privilege to generate, pay their salaries and remit to the State Government.
He, however, urged them to explore more avenues that could double the revenue generation.
The Chairman, Niger State Revenue Service, Alh. Muhammad Etsu, appreciated the Governor for the gesture, pointing out that the tremendous support the Service has been enjoying from the inception of the present administration translated to the huge amount of revenue they were able to generate.
He said the Service is now autonomous and self-sustaining explaining that the vehicles given to them will further encourage them to raise the revenue profile of Niger State.
