Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State expresses shock over the death of Dr. Mahmoud Muhammad Ndatsu, a retired Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education and consultant Surgeon with General Hospital Minna.
In a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor says the death of Dr. Muhammad Ndatsu is a monumental loss to the State considering his impact on the lives of many, especially in the Education and Health sectors.
He extends his deepest condolences to the immediate and extended family of the deceased as well as the Ministries of Health and Education over the huge loss.
The Governor acknowledges that death, as painful and sorrowful as it is, is an inevitable end to every human being.
He then enjoined all the bereaved to take solace in Allah, knowing that the deceased lived a good and impactful life.
The Governor prays that Aljanna Firdausi will be the final abode of Dr. Mahmoud Muhammad Ndatsu and comfort all those affected by his demise.
The late Consultant Surgeon and his friends were said to have distributed gifts to patients on admission at the General Hospital Minna, as part of activities marking their 40th anniversary of togetherness, and later participated in football match where he collapsed and died.
The funeral of the late Dr. Mahmoud Muhammad Ndatsu comes up tomorrow at the Central Mosque, Minna at ten O’clock in the morning.
