Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, commiserates with the Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alh. Yahaya Abubakar over the demise of Sarkin Bai Nupe, Alh. Muhammad Baba Usman also known as Alh. Ndalaga.
In a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor, describes the death of the Sarkin Bai Nupe as a colossal loss not only to Nupe Kingdom but the entire Niger State.
He recounts the tremendous contributions of the deceased, especially in deepening traditional institutions and upholding cultural heritage.
The Governor says Alh. Baba Usman lived a life worthy of emulation and has written his name in the sands of time.
He prays that Allah will forgive all the shortcomings of Alhaji Ndalaga and grant him Aljanna Firdausi as well as give the Etsu Nupe, Bida Emirate Council, the immediate and extended families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
The late Alh. Muhammad Baba Usman was the son of the 10th Etsu Nupe, late Alh. Usman Sarki.
