Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has condoled with the Magajin Garin Nupe and Chairman, Governing Council of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, Prof. Sheikh Abdullah, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Aisha Sheikh Abdullah.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago described the passing of Hajiya Aisha as a great loss, not only to her immediate family but to the entire Niger State.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Bida Emirate, and the management of IBBU Lapai, describing the deceased as a loving mother with deep compassion for humanity.
The Governor prayed that Allah grants Hajiya Aisha the highest rank in Aljannat Firdausi and urged the family to emulate her exemplary life while offering continuous prayers for her soul.
Hajiya Aisha Sheikh Abdullah, wife of the Magajin Garin Nupe, passed away after a brief illness.
