Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zacch Adelabu Adedeji, at his office in Abuja.
According to a statement by the Governor’s Media Office, the discussion during the visit focused on strengthening food security, boosting revenue generation, and advancing the Renewed Hope Fund.
The statement quoted Governor Bago as commending Dr. Adedeji for his efforts at the FIRS and assuring him of his administration’s readiness to work closely with the Service to ensure it fulfills its mandate.
The statement added that the governor was accompanied by the member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency, Saidu Musa Abdullahi, who also serves as Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, as well as the Chairman of Niger Foods, Mr. Sammy Adigun
