Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has visited Maizube farms on a guidance tour of various segments of the farm .
The Governor and his entourage was taken round some of the areas including the Cattle Shade, Feed Centre, milking parlour and open fields.
He interacted with some officials of the farm, shared ideas and knowledge on livestock development and areas of possible collaborations
The visit is one of the Governor’s bold steps towards boosting the agricultural sector of the State through public-private partnerships.
The Governor’s visit to Maizube Farm known for its agricultural products and potential for boosting national food security was also part of an effort to take a critical look at the agricultural initiatives with a view to promoting private sector involvement in farming activities in the state.
