The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, his counterpart of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu have paid a condolence visit to the former EFCC boss, Abdul Rasheed Bawa over the death of his mother, Hajiya Lami Bawa
Condoling the ex-EFCC boss, his younger brother, who is also the Commissioner for physical planning and Urban Development, Kebbi State, Hon. Hayatu Bawa and members of the family in Jega, the trio prayed Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannutl Firdaus.
Speaking onbehalf of the other the Yobe State Governor encouraged the children and members of the family to consider demise of Hajiya Lami as a destiny that nobody has the power to alter it.
Receiving the delegation, on behalf of the families, the Sarkin Kabin Jega Alhaji Arzika Bawa appreciated the visitors for the condolence visit and prayed God Almighty to reward them abundantly.
Hajiya Lami died at the age of 67 years at Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), Sokoto after an illness.
Left behind to mourn her are; ten (10) children, including the ex-EFCC boss, Abul Rasheed Bawa and his younger brother and current Commissioner in Kebbi State, Hon. Hayatu Bawa.
