Kebbi State Governor Comerade Dr.Nasir Idris has condoled family of the Managing Director of HYPPADEC, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq-Yelwa over the death of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Ahmed (Umma).
Hajiya Fatima Umma passed on Monday 6th/5/2024 after a protected illness.
Governor Idris described her as a role model, a mother who always prayed for peace and unity within and outside the family.
He prayed Allah to forgive her sins, shortcomings and grant her Aljanah Firdausi.
Responding, Alhaji Yelwa thanked the Governor and his entourage for the condolence visit.
He told the Governor that Yauri people are in full support of his government policies and programs.
He said he cannot quantified the level of the love the Governor has for the people of Yauri. Alhaji Yelwa prayed for Dr Idris and his family.
The late Hajiya Fatima Ahmed Umma died at the age of over 90 years, she left behind 8 children including the HYPPADEC MD.
She has been buried according to the Islamic rites.
Similarly, the Governor also paid a condolence visit to the family of the former educational secretary and sole administrator, Alhaji Musa Bature.
The Governor donated N2m to the deceased families and prayed May Allah to forgive the deceased.
The Governor was accompanied by the Secretary to the Kebbi State Government Yakubu Bala-Tafida, Head of Service Alhaji Safiyanu Garba-Bena, Commissioner of information and culture Ahmed Yakubu Birnin-Kebbi, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affair Alhaji Garba Dutsinmari, Special Adviser on Power and Political Affairs Matters Alhaji Kabir Sani Gaint, Chairman Local Governments Service Commission Alhaji Mansir Sheahu, Rector Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Dr Usman Tunga, Permanent secretaries and other Advisers.
