The Lapai Emirate Development Foundation (LEDEF) has donated the sum of five hundred thousand naira as support for the victims of the floored disaster that occured in Mokwa local government area.
In a statement signed by LEDEF Chairman, Central Working Committee, Engineer Ahmed Rufai Mohammed disclosed that the cheque was presented at the government house today.
LEDEF extended it’s condolences to the Government of Niger State and in particular, to the people of Mokwa local government area over the unfortunate flood disaster, noting that their thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, the injured and all those currently sheltered in rehabilitation camps.
LEDEF prayed that God grants enternal rest to the souls of those who lost their lives and strengthen the entire Mokwa community.
