The Registrar and the Chief Executive, National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi has expressed deep shock and sadness over the Petrol Tanker Explosion that claimed many lives at Dikko Junction on Saturday 18th January, 2025.
Prof. Wushishi, who expressed the condolence of the Management and Staff of the Council in a statement issued by
Ag. Director, Information and Public Relations of the council, Azeez Sani
to the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago and the families of the victims of the tanker explosion, beseech Allah to grant the souls of the victims eternal rest.
The Registrar called on Road users to be more cautious, noting that the disaster could have been prevented if the tanker drivers had adhered to traffic regulations.
