The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman has commiserated with the Deputy Governor of the State, Comrade Yakubu Garba over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba.
Late Hajiya Zainab Garba died today Tuesday 2nd July, 2024 in Minna after a brief illness.
The SSG described Hajiya Zainab’s death as “a great loss not only to the family of the Deputy Governor but Niger State in general, given her invaluable contributions to the cause of humanity.
According to Alhaji Usman, “No doubt the death of a loved one is usually a painful episode in our lives because it is irreparable but we must always take solace in Allah for a good life spent by the deceased. We should be consoled by the fact that late Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba lived a fulfilling life, having impacted positively on the people that came in contact with her during her lifetime”.
On behalf of the Government and people of Niger State, I commiserate with Comrade Yakubu Garba, Deputy Governor of the State on the painful loss of his beloved wife, SSG stressed.
He called on the bereaved family to uphold the cherished ideals of kindness and generosity associated with the deceased and prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) to repose her soul, and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
