The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has congratulated the Sarkin Zazzau Suleja and first elected Governor of Niger State, His Royal Highness Malam Muhammad Awal Ibrahim, CON, on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
In a goodwill message, the SSG described the monarch as a distinguished elder statesman, visionary leader, and custodian of cultural heritage whose life has been dedicated to the service of Allah, humanity, and the development of Niger State.
Alhaji Usman noted that Malam Awal Ibrahim’s contributions as the first civilian governor of the state laid the foundation for governance, democratic values, and institutional growth. He added that his reign as Sarkin Zazzau has continued to promote peace, harmony, and cultural pride in Suleja Emirate and beyond.
He prayed for long life, good health, and wisdom for the traditional ruler, describing his legacy of selfless service and commitment to the welfare of his people as an enduring example for leaders at all levels.
