The Niger State APC Caucus has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for a second term in Office.
This was the consensus reached by all stakeholders of the party in the state during the expanded Niger State APC Caucus meeting held at the Hauwa Wali Multi Purpose Hall, Government House Minna.
Leader of Niger State APC Caucus at the National Assembly and Senator representing Niger East, Sen. Muhammad Sani Musa moved the motion for the endorsement and was seconded by member representing Bida/ Gbako/Katcha federal Constituency, Saidu Musa Abdul.
Other high profile members of the party including the Minister of Information and National Orientation Muhammad Idris Malagi, Minister of State agriculture, Senator Abdullahi Sabi, and Vice Chairman APC North Central, Mu’azu Bawa all commended the transformational efforts of both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and governor Umaru Bago and called for their continuity in Office.
Niger State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Speaker Niger State House of Assembly Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji, Chairman APC Niger State, Aminu Musa Bobi and ALGON Chairman Niger State, Ilyasu Zakari were also among APC Party bigwigs at the event that called for the endorsement of President Tinubu and Governor Umaru Bago and was unanimously agreed by all stakeholders present.
In all their separate remarks, they acknowledged the giant strides attained by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umaru Bago and described their achievements as unprecedented as they urged Nigerians to give them the chance to continue with their good works.
The forum also provided members the opportunity to discuss on various issues bordering the party and they all agreed that members should remain united and work together for the common good of the people even as they reassured governor Umaru Bago of their continued support to his policies and programmes
In his remarks, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago appreciated all the APC stakeholders for the trust and confidence reposed on him saying, all APC members should remain commuted to the growth of the party which was instrumental to their emergence in their various political positions.
He called on every APC supporter in Niger State to play key roles in promoting the party and continue to canvass support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He also used the occasion to reaffirm his total support to all the candidates of APC in the forthcoming local government elections, adding that rigorous campaigns will be held.
Governor Umaru Bago disclosed that his administration has already declared a state of emergency in the health and education sectors and will continue in his developmental strides for the state.
The expanded Caucus meeting was highly attended with notable guest likes former Deputy governors of the State Ahned Mohammed Ketso and Amb. Musa Ibeto respectively, Amb Zubairu Dada, all federal and State legislators from Niger State, members of State House of Assembly, Local Government Chairmen, Commissioners and Special Advisers among other APC Party loyalists.
