Niger State Government says it would partner with key stakeholders to improve digital literacy by seventy five percent in the state.
This was made known by Governor Mohammed Umar Bago during the official flag off ceremony of digital literacy for all by the national information technology development agency (NITDA) in collaboration with the National youth service corps at justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Center Minna.
Governor Umar Mohammed Bago explained that going digital is the gate way to advancing the economy of the state and the country, hence the initiative is key and timely.
He also said the speed at which the country is going, there is the need to join the trend, calling on all party to join the digital revolution.
Minister of States, Federal Ministry of youth Development, Ayodele Olawale Wisdom called on the Youth to tap into various digital initiatives in order to improve the economy development of the country.
Earlier the Director General National Information Technology Development Agency Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi and the Director General National Youth Service Corps Brigadier General Ahmed have both agreed to work together with a target in training thirty million Nigerians before twenty twenty seven, as well as encourage all stakeholders to key into the digital literacy for all.
