Niger State Government says it remains fully committed to supporting the Nigerian Air Force in its Constitutional mandate of defending the Nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago stated this during the 2024 Base Socio-Cultural Activities (BASA) held at the 013 Quick Response Force, Nigerian Air Force Minna.
Governor Umaru Bago represented by the Commissioner for Homeland security Mohammed Bello Abdullahi acknowledged the efforts of the Nigerian Air Force in Minna and commended their tireless efforts in combating insecurity and insurgency adding that the Officers’bravery, selfless service and professionalism serve as inspiration to the populace.
The Governor who described personnel of the Nigerian Air Force as those who dominate the battle space in all ramifications also applauded their unwavering commitment in the discharge of their duties.
He re assured that the Niger State Government will continue to support and collaborate with the Nigerian Air Force by providing the necessary resources and infrastructure to enhance their effectiveness.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago equally encouraged the personnel to continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of their operations to enable them maintain high standards and respond effectively to emerging challenges.
Earlier, the Commander 013 Quick Response Force, Nigerian Air Force, Group Captain Austine Idoko who reflected on 2024 operational activities said their efforts have yielded remarkable successes within the objectives of the headquarters.
He said the 013 Quick Response Force remain resolute in consolidating the gains recorded while maintaining a swift response to security challenges within the State as an integral part of the ongoing operation FANSAN YAMMA and other joint security efforts within the state.
Base Socio-Cultural Activities (BASA) is an annual celebration marking the end of a successful operational year of the 013 Quick Response Force by showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Nigerian Air Force personnel as well as promoting unity among personnel families and host communities to strengthen bonds.
