Niger State Government has received the master plan for the Gurara waterfalls project.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago received the master plan from the Lead Architect of the project Elise Van Gass-Vivers at the Niger State liaison office, Abuja.
He acknowledged that tourism brings prosperity and tranquility to a society, as such, it should not be underestimated.
The Governor assured that the project will kickstart soon and will have a timeline to finish it as all that are contained in the master plan are part of the vision of his administration.
He appreciated the Lead Architect and her team for a job well done.
Speaking earlier, the Lead architect of the project, Elise Van Gass-Vivers, said that the development of the master plan started in the last administrations
While highlighting parts of the Master plan, the Lead architect said provision has been made for facilities such as hotels, wildlife park, conference centre, a golf course, 100 hectares of land for a university, farmlands, staff quarters, a Shea butter plant among others, which she said will boost revenue generation for the State.
She expressed optimism that the multi-faceted project will continue to fruition under the present administration.
