Niger State government is to construct a road from Mararaban Dandaudu-Gwada and from Gwada-Kuta in Shiroro local government area of the State.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago disclosed this when he addressed members of Gwada community, in continuation of his statewide projects monitoring.
He said the road projects when completed would ease movement and boost socio-economic activities around the road corridor.
The Governor also announced that he has discussed with the Emir of Minna, Alh. Umar Farouk Bahago about land, where New houses will be constructed to create new cities for the Displaced people from Alawa, Erena and Kurebe among other displaced communities.
He said for those who wish to still go back to their ancestral homes can do that if the security of the area improves.
The Governor also disclosed that an ultramodern market and General Hospital will be provided for the people of Gwada community to carter for its growing population.
He then enjoined the people to continue to be patient and show understanding with the government at all levels as all hands are on deck to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Speaking at the gathering, the Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, said the administration of Governor Umaru Bago means well for the people, hence, the people should continue to give it their full support.
Prof. James Galadima applauded the Governor for his people-oriented projects across the State.
He then appealed for the provision of water, and completion of road around Doma- Busu Hospital which was initiated in 2017.
