Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago describes as sensational, the emergence of Hafiz Abdullahi Salisu Abba from Suleja Local Government Area as the second placed winner of the recently concluded 44th edition of the King Abdul Aziz International Quranic recitation Competition held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Governor Umaru Bago through his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim says the feat attained by Hafiz Abdullahi is a great achievement not only for the Muslim Community in Niger State but Nigeria as a whole.
He describes the success of the young Abdullahi Abba as a motivation to other Muslims to aspire and memorize the Holy Quran being the guiding principle of every Muslim.
The Director-General of the Niger State Bureau for Religious Affairs, Malam Umar Farooq Abdullahi who officially announces the remarkable achievement of Hafiz Abdullah Salisu Abba in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including the Governor of Makkah, Senior Imams of the Grand Mosque, and Nigeria’s Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia appreciates Farmer Governor Bago for his support in facilitating the successful participation and outcome of the event.
He encourages the Muslim community and the people of Niger State to continue to offer prayers to foster unity and hope for the humanity.
