Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has felicitated with the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouq Bahago on his 67th birthday and 36th year on the throne as Emir of Minna.
The Governor in a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim showered encomiums on the celebrant.
He described the Emir as a man of peace, who has been steadfast in sustaining peaceful coexistence in his emirate.
The Governor recounted the immense contributions, passion and wise counsel of the Traditional Ruler to the growth and development of not just his emirate, but the State.
He said in the last 36 years of the Emir on the throne of the forefathers, he has upheld the sanctity of cultural traditions through purposeful leadership.
While felicitating with the Emir, the Governor assured him that his administration is not resting on its oars to ensure that the insecurity bedevilling parts of his emirate is halted.
He wished the celebrant more years, wisdom, good health and a successful reign.
