NIPR President Dr. Ike Neliaku led a delegation to the Ag. CEO, DAAR Communications PLC, Chief Marcel Anyalechi Ph.D on a courtesy visit to renew existing relationship between the NIPR and DAAR.
The President highlighted a number of programmes instituted by NIPR, including the annual memorial lecture in honour of late Chairman of DAAR Communications, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi who he said represents so much in the country’s communication industry.
He also spoke about the forthcoming 2nd Nigeria Spokespersons Summit (NSS) billed for next week, where the Institute shall be unveiling the Nigeria Spokespersons Charter and Code of Ethics.
The President equally briefed the Ag. CEO on the Nigeria Public Relations Week coming up next month in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the Nigeria Reputation Summit taking place in October and hosting of the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) coming up November, 2026.
The Ag. CEO welcomed the President and lauded his leadership style which has elevated the Institute to an enviable status.
He assured that the partnership between both organisations remains intact, expressing gratitude to the Institute for the memorial lecture to honour its founder, late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi.
In the President’s delegation were: the Ag. Chairman of NSS National Planning Committee, Dr. Muhammad Kudu Abubakar and the Director, Public Relations, Mr. Stanley Ogadigo.
