The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Niger State Council, has commiserate with the State Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba, over the death of his wife Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of the Union, the State Secretary of NUJ Comrade Usman Chiji, described the demise of Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba, as painful and devastating.
Comrade Usman Chiji described the deceased as a caring mother and wife, humble, honest and a philanthropist who dedicated her life to the well-being of women and children.
The statement extolled the virtues of Late Hajiya Zainab, who did not allow the prestigious position of her husband to distant her from friends, associates and neighbors, rather she optimally utilized the vintage office to improve the living standard of people far and near.
Comrade Usman Chiji stressed that though, the death of a loved one could be unimaginable, he urged the bereaved family to be consoled that, Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba lived a fruitful life.
The NUJ noted that, her devotion to the worship of God and simple lifestyle endeared Late Hajiya Zainab Garba to many, especially those who were into caring for the less privileged and empowering citizens.
The statement then prayed Allah to forgive her sins, grant her aljanatu Firdausi and the deputy governor, the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
