A Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, The Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State, Mr Kenneth Adikea has been appointed the acting HOD, Journalism and Media Studies(JMS) pending the election of a substantive HOD.
Recall that, Journalism and Media Studies is one of the recently unbundled departments from the department of Mass Communication.
According to the appointment letter signed by the institution’s Registrar, Mal. Hussaini Mohammed Enagi, as the pioneering HOD, Mr. Adikea is tasked with providing the necessary academic and administrative leadership to this new department.
The new HOD is expected to assume office immediately.
