The Death has occurred of Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Kikelomo Adeyemi (JP), the mother of the former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Smart Adeyemi.
Confirming the irreparable loss Senator Smart Adeyemi said his mother, Princess Victoria Adeyemi, a revered matriarch, passed away at her private residence in Abuja after a protracted day illness at the age of 87.
Senator Smart Adeyemi said his mother, Princess Victoria was known for her virtuous nature and dedication to raising her children in the ways of the Lord.
Princess Victoria Adeyemi was born into the Royal family of Ibilola Ilupa in Iyara, the headquarters of Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State,
Married Pa Solomon Adeyemi from the Royal family of Araromi Quarters in Iyara.
She moved to Kongila area in Minna, Niger state and stayed there for over forty-years, where she had her six children, before relocating to Abuja.
May God grant her soul eternal rest, and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
